About Jenny Rook
Jenny Rook was born in Essex, UK and educated at York University, where she graduated with a degree in English and Music. Studying the greats of literature called a halt to a burgeoning desire to write.

‘The Book of the Sun’
‘Are these my thoughts or yours?’ I asked.
‘It doesn’t matter,’ the Sun replied. ‘You are me and I am you…
The Book of the Sun concerns the structure of the living universe, why it is so difficult here, and why we should all began to realise that we are all one, and yet diverse at the same time. It answers many questions that have concerned minds throughout the millennia. Why are we here? Why is there suffering? What is the future for us? These questions and many more are answered.

Excerpts from ‘The Book of the Sun’
In relation to what goes on in the Universe, what the Sun knows, we are like a mayfly. We know our field – this planet – to some extent, but even that knowledge is fairly sketchy. And what goes on in the Universes is as beyond our thought and knowledge as the London Underground is beyond the knowledge of a mayfly.
The Sun dips down in to the sea as we turn away during sunset, its extraordinary power and beauty as it rises over the land at dawn…. there is, simply, nothing more glorious, nothing more varied, and gorgeous. No wonder religions have got going worshipping the Sun from Utu in Mesopotamia, Ra in Egypt, Apollo in Greek and Roman mythologies, Kinich Ahau for the Mayans….
The Galaxies dance across dimensions in patterns of grace inconceivable to us …the deep joy of beingness in the beautiful creative heart of the Mother, our Milky Way Galaxy, was inexpressibly heart-opening, full of glory, full of wonder and the most tender of lovingness.
